In the Inpatient setting, the patient/client is either a hospitalized in a hospital facility or an extended residential setting.
After the patient stays in the residential facility for 30 to 60 days and the patient is discharged to outpatient facility where they are receiving therapy on a weekly or twice a week basis. They are usually staying at a home during these months and these homes are usually managed and very professionally managed by qualified managers who are assuring the homes are remaining drug-free and alcohol free at all times. These homes are called Sober Living Facilities may also be able to charge various health insurances for the individual patient/client’s stay while they are going through their prescribed outpatient treatments.
